This Cookie Policy lists every cookie set by the COR Investment Management website and explains its purpose, lifetime, and the lawful basis on which we use it under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. It complements the Privacy Policy linked from this page.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are required for the site to function; others are used to understand usage, remember preferences, or attribute marketing campaigns.
We categorise cookies into three groups: Essential (always active, no consent required), Analytics (consent required), and Marketing (consent required). Our cookie banner asks for your consent on first visit and you can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
2. Essential cookies (always active)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work safely. Under PECR Reg 6(4) they do not require your consent.
• cor_consent - records your cookie-consent choices (essential / analytics / marketing). Lifetime: 365 days. Set by: COR (first-party).
• cor_investor_type - records your self-declared investor classification (individual investor, or professional / institutional / adviser). This cookie is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict, and HMAC-signed so it cannot be tampered with. Lifetime: 30 days. Set by: COR (first-party).
3. Analytics cookies (consent required)
Used only if you have given consent via the "Accept all" or "Analytics" option on the cookie banner. Lawful basis: Art 6(1)(a) UK GDPR (consent) read together with PECR Reg 6.
• _ga - Google Analytics user identifier. Used to distinguish users for aggregate usage reporting. Lifetime: 24 months. Set by: Google (third-party).
• _ga_<measurement_id> - Google Analytics 4 session and persistence state. Lifetime: 24 months. Set by: Google (third-party).
Google Analytics is configured with IP truncation enabled, so the full IP address of any visitor is never stored in our analytics account.
Plausible Analytics is also loaded but is cookieless - no cookies are set by Plausible and no individual visitor identifier is stored. We include it for high-level traffic metrics that survive analytics-consent rejection.
4. Marketing cookies (consent required)
Used only if you have given consent via the "Accept all" or "Marketing" option on the cookie banner. Lawful basis: Art 6(1)(a) UK GDPR (consent) read together with PECR Reg 6.
• cor_utm - records the UTM attribution parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content), Google Click ID, and external referrer of your first visit. Used to attribute enquiry leads to a marketing campaign. Lifetime: session. Set by: COR (first-party).
• bcookie - LinkedIn browser identifier used by the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Lifetime: 12 months. Set by: LinkedIn (third-party).
• lidc - LinkedIn data-centre routing cookie. Lifetime: session. Set by: LinkedIn (third-party).
• li_gc / li_oatml / li_alerts - additional LinkedIn cookies used by the Insight Tag for audience measurement. Lifetime: 6 months. Set by: LinkedIn (third-party).
LinkedIn cookies share information with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. Read the LinkedIn cookie policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy for the full list.
5. Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie consent choices at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal of consent is as easy as giving it - per UK GDPR Art 7(3).
You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies (cor_consent, cor_investor_type) will break the site's ability to remember your classification and consent choices, and you may be repeatedly prompted by the cookie banner.
6. Third-party hosts and data transfers
Where a cookie is set by a third party (Google, LinkedIn), data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) and the relevant provider's published safeguards for those transfers. See our Privacy Policy section 5 for the full transfer-mechanism disclosure.
7. Changes to this notice
If we add, remove, or change the cookies we use, we will update this notice and the cookie banner will re-prompt for consent where the change is material.
